Interior Hardwood Finish
PENOFIN transparent interior wood finish for Exotic Hardwood was
created to improve and protect the natural beauty of unfinished,
untreated hardwood. Sustainably harvested from Brazilian Rosewood
Oil seeds that fall naturally from trees in the dry plains
of Brazil, Penofin Interior Hardwood Finish is a deeply penetrating
finish and sealer. Penofin Interior Hardwood Finish is recommended
for use on all professional woodworking projects. When wet-
sanded, multiple coats of Penofin Interior Hardwood Finish
build a lustrous finish which protects the surface of wood.
Penofin Interior Hardwood Finish dries quickly, has almost
no bleed-back, and protects against raised grain, fading,
and yellowing. Penofin complies with all national and local
air quality regulations.
Application
SHAKE CAN WELL AND STIR PRODUCT THOROUGHLY. DO NOT THIN OR
BLEND WITH OTHER PRODUCTS. For best results prepare the wood
by sanding with the grain, using 150-grit or finer sandpaper,
then wipe clean.

Flat-Matte Method Finish
Apply one coat of Interior Hardwood Finish with a high-quality
brush, flooding the surface. Add more oil to dry areas and
end grain. Wipe surface after 30 minutes. Wipe any shiny areas
again with a clean, dry cloth. Allow wood to dry at least
12 hours before using.
Wet-Sanding Method
Attain a museum-quality finish with Penofin Interior Hardwood
Finish. Wet-sanding with Penofin Interior Hardwood Finish
creates a natural paste for a high-luster finish without the
need for a sanding sealer or paste filler. First, apply Penofin
Interior Hardwood Finish as above. Wait 24 hours, then apply
Penofin Interior Hardwood Finish to a small area, sanding
with 220-grit or finer wet-dry sandpaper. Keep the area wet
with Penofin Interior Hardwood Finish while you work. Wipe
the wood clean and repeat until the desired patina is achieved.
Coverage
Coverage will vary from 250-300 square feet a gallon depending
on the surface texture, moisture content, and method of application.
